Avalanche was born in 1987 on the north shore of Boston, Massachusetts, and has made its home in the historic seaside city of Salem. Avalanche is an authentic brand built on tradition and passion for enjoying the outdoors.

In 2018, One Step Up acquired Avalanche with the intention to expand its footprint in the market. While we invest in many operating businesses, we also manage specific categories within the brands that we are invested in. Currently, we are the exclusive licensee for all mens, womens, childrens activewear, outerwear, base layer and underwear.
